New business apartments in Lucerne
We are expanding our portfolio in Lucerne: Next to Villa Kompass (former Casa d'Italia) on Obergrundstrasse, a new five-story building is being constructed that will offer space for 18 furnished apartments. Letting is expected to start in summer 2023.
GLANDON Apartments is currently present at four locations in the city of Lucerne. In addition, a total of 15 more business apartments are in planning at Haldenstrasse 21 since spring 2021. «We have recently received the building permit for a sixth location on Obergrundstrasse directly next to the former Casa d'Italia», says Severin Glanzmann, CEO of GLANDON Apartments.18 new Business Apartments
The new five-story building will provide space for 18 furnished apartments; 16 1-bedroom apartments and two 2-bedroom apartments. Each apartment will include either a garden patio, balcony or terrace. As is customary with GLANDON Apartments, each apartment has a bathroom and its own kitchenette. Tenants benefit from full service. This means that, among other things, utilities, WLAN and a cleaning every two weeks are included in the price.
Leasing start in summer 2023
Exactly when the new location on Obergrundstrasse can open will only become clear in the coming months. Excavation will begin in December 2021, with interior construction scheduled for winter 2022. «A realistic target for the start of occupancy is summer 2023», says Glanzmann. He is pleased that GLANDON Apartments will be able to offer national and international guests around 140 furnished apartments – from simple to upscale – in the city of Lucerne from that time on.
